Despite the age of the kit, I found the assembly process to be quite smooth. However, it was evident that the kit was lacking in certain details, which presented an opportunity to exercise my creative talents and implement a range of upgrades.

Enhancing the accuracy and authenticity of the model included replacing the original wheels with RES/KIT resin wheels, adding Wolfpack resin exhaust nozzles, and utilizing a set of Eduard PE. Additionally, I fabricated a custom canopy opening mechanism and added further detail to the cockpit. To improve the model’s precision, I made modifications to the vertical stabilizers/rudders and constructed a more accurate hook from scratch.

I must admit that this project was immensely enjoyable, and I take great pride in the end result.
